Celestron's LCD Digital Microscope II is a versatile and powerful microscope that features a 5MP CMOS sensor, capable of capturing high-resolution colour images and 30fps video. All of which is viewable on the on-board 3.5"" colour LCD display, or on a monitor via an AV video out port. An effective magnification of up to 400x or (with additional 4x digital zoom) on an external monitor with a magnifying power of up 1600x. To ensure the quality of the optics is utilised and provides the best possible image, the microscope also features achromatic objectives and a bright 8-LED illumination system with adjustable brightness. Specimens will be mounted on the 3.5 x 3.5"" mechanical stage which features full X-Y motion control using two precision Vernier micrometres. Your findings can be saved directly to the microSD card slot/mini-USB data port and accessible by the simple control panel.
